INTRODUCTION
Muunvitus N3 is a relatively "new" discovery; while being just as old as Noccanov itself, of course, this silvery planet is oddly difficult to locate if you don't know exactly what you're looking for. The dominant sapient species, Miauvi and Wourgi, developed a cloaking technology that allowed them to conceal their planet after an awful brush with humanity that resulted in a decades-long war.
The miauvi, who were exceptionally advanced in terms of technology, had crafted an eco-friendly empire that seamlessly incorporated the local flora and fauna into the framework of their society. Their cities and towns are architectural masterpieces due to this, as are their other inventions that have gone on to further influence modern understanding of tech, medicine, and other various products that are now widely distributed throughout the galaxy.

GEOGRAPHY
Muunvitus is a tidally locked planet located in the Nova Primaris system, the third from the sun. Since one half of the planet is stuck facing the star it orbits, the planet has a natural day-to-night gradient with a band of perpetual twilight around the middle.
Though each side has its extremes when it comes to climate, the earth-like oceans and atmosphere make it possible for life to be supported as normal here.
ATMOSPHERE & CLIMATE
With the planet being tidally locked, there are three main "zones" that make up the planet:
› Goe (meaning 'north')
› Wainushie (meaning 'middle' or 'center')
› Oin (meaning 'south')
Goe, the northern region, is the dark side of the planet. It's a frozen tundra, covered in ice and snow, though the further north you go the more glacial it becomes. Warmer currents from the south make coastlines a little more habitable and therefore have a higher concentration of population, but the few settlements situated further inland tend to be centered around areas with more geothermal activity (most notably, Augasa and Saibaia).
Wainushie, the middle region, is the thin band separating the major regions that's perpetually twilight. This is probably the most densely populated zone given that the climate here is more moderate - a 'sweet spot', most would say. It's the dream of many to visit Muunvitus's terminator line, and despite the frequent storms, it's considered to be a very popular and romantic destination spot for tourists.
Oin, the southern region, is the light side of the planet. Starting from the terminator line, it's a gradient of misty coastal climate, Mediterranean, and then true desert the further down you travel. Places like Oin Vespera have a more tropical sort of feel to it with its unique bamboo forests.

There are three distinct continents that make up Muunvitus, each surrounded by various islands and other landforms.

OFFICIAL LANGUAGES
› Miaumiau ("meow-meow")
Being the most common verbal language spoken on Muunvitus, Miaumiau is spoken by a good majority of the population, nearly as widespread as real-world English. It branched off from Wouwou very early on in documented history.
› Wouwou ("wow-wow")
An older form of Miaumiau, one that not many individuals speak anymore. It's not quite extinct yet, still being spoken by isolated communities and a larger percentage of Wourgi population concentrated in Dinuota. It sometimes overlaps with Aenian.
› Tailspeak
Tailspeak is one of the main two widely-known nonverbal languages. This is the most basic of the two, and not quite a full 'language' compared to pawsign, but a lot of miauvi rely on it especially in terms of microexpressions. Through the minute movements and subtle positioning of their ears and tails, they can communicate a diverse array of emotions and messages just like old world felines did. Those who have shorter appendages or a lack of range can still often use tailspeak, as there are surely different ways to adapt certain signals however needed. Certain expressions may have different meanings or forms of delivery unique to the individual as well as the areas they may come from - somewhat like an accent.
Though it's called 'tailspeak', it's an inclusive term and is still used to describe motions made by the ears, tail, and other general body language.
› Pawsign
Pawsign is one of the main two widely-known nonverbal languages. This is the miauvi equivalent of sign language, and works in a similar way to ASL (or any other region's SL). Tailspeak is often used in conjunction with pawsign, though it isn't always necessary.
It's a little more precise than tailspeak, but may still have regional differences depending on where you go.
Other languages
› Aenian
An otherworldly ancient language that is functionally dead in Mwylunnus. It's much, much older than Wouwou, and is only spoken by certain isolated family lines, mostly in formal or religious settings. A lot of names are typically still Aenian.
› Runic
This was the first ever documented written form of communication on Muunvitus, dubbed as such because the written form of Aenian goes by the same name. These are sometimes known as 'waterfall runes' due to the beautiful flowy look it has. Most people will never see these runes outside of ancient preserved texts and various historical locations.
