Traits

(2) Fireball (Fire)

Category: Spells (Tier 2)

This spell conjures a ball of flame that's strong enough to be thrown or cast away from the user. It will not fizzle out immediately like fire conjured via the ember spell, and will burn for some time before dying down.

(2) Will-o-the-wisp (Fire)

Category: Spells (Tier 2)

This spell allows the user to create up to five small balls of fire that float around them. These can be placed down and will not fizzle out until they are out of sight range of the user.

(2) Fire manipulation (Fire)

Category: Spells (Tier 2)

Allows for the user to push and pull flames to move and shape them to the user's will. Works both on pre-existing fire and fire that the user has conjured.

(2) Landmine (Fire)

Category: Spells (Tier 2)

The user enchants an object within their range of sight to cause a small explosion on contact.

(2) Shock (Lightning)

Category: Spells (Tier 2)

This spell allows for the user to deliver a painful electric shock capable of causing nerve damage and convulsions in the target.

(2) Generate (Lightning)

Category: Spells (Tier 2)

Using this spell, the user can recharge items such as phones and batteries. Careful, though, giving energy too quickly can fry the battery! Can be used in tandem with the target casting the charge spell to "feed" off of the user.

(2) Electrify (Lightning)

Category: Spells (Tier 2)

The user electrifies the environment around them, or focuses the spell on a single item. The conductivity of the target location matters and low-conductivity objects or surfaces will be more difficult to electrify. Targets coming in contact with an electrified surface will get shocked.

(2) Interference (Lightning)

Category: Spells (Tier 2)

The user can use a specialized electric current to generate a field around them that disrupts technology and causes it to glitch. This spell can also be targeted to objects. While the technology typically goes back to normal after the spell ends, the user can put more energy into the spell to permanently break the technology.

(2) Jetstream (Water)

Category: Spells (Tier 2)

This spell produces a blast of water powerful enough to knock targets back. The water pressure is similar to that of a fire hose.

(2) Purification (Water)

Category: Spells (Tier 2)

This spell purifies contaminated water and makes it safe for drinking. This separates out sediment, parasites, chemicals, and more, leaving nothing but pure H20 behind.

(2) Summon rain (Water)

Category: Spells (Tier 2)

This spell forces rain to start falling. Once the storm starts, it will rain until it's finished. This spell does not work well if there isn't much water in the atmosphere, but if the user has access to a body of water they can force evaporation to begin the precipitation cycle.

(2) Contamination (Water)

Category: Spells (Tier 2)

This spell allows for the user to contaminate water into a highly potent toxin. They can either contaminate existing water or use the spell to turn their sweat toxic. With practice they can control how potent the toxins are.

(2) Stoneskin (Earth)

Category: Spells (Tier 2)

With this spell the user is able to harden their skin to be stone-tough. They're not invincible in this state, but their skin has a much higher resistance to damage and pain.

(2) Erode (Earth)

Category: Spells (Tier 2)

This spell releases a concentrated blast of sand that's capable of damaging surfaces, objects and living targets due to the abrasive properties of sand.

(2) Mineral shard (Earth)

Category: Spells (Tier 2)

Upon casting this spell, sharp shards of stone, crystal, or even metal will erupt out of the ground around the user. This spell can also be aimed to occur in the general area of a target.

(2) Rockskating (Earth)

Category: Spells (Tier 2)

This spell allows for the user to manipulate the earth under their feet to move very, very fast.

(2) Ice shard (Ice)

Category: Spells (Tier 2)

This spell conjures shards of ice that the user can shoot as a projectile. The ice is generated from liquid within the user's body, so it's not uncommon to see blood-red ice shards generated.

(2) Frost breath (Ice)

Category: Spells (Tier 2)

With this spell, the user is able to chill their breath to exhale a continuous stream of frosty breath that they can use to freeze things around them. The duration of the spell is determined by their lung capacity.

(2) Ice shield (Ice)

Category: Spells (Tier 2)

This spell summons a shield of ice in front of the user or around a target. The ice is conjured from liquid within the user's body or nearby liquid, so ice shields laced with red aren't uncommon. The thickness of the shield depends on the experience of the user with the spell, and the availability of resources.

(2) Snowman (Ice)

Category: Spells (Tier 2)

This spell allows for the user to conjure... a snowman! This snowman can be any shape that the user chooses. The user can control the snowman's movements. The snowman is not very strong and retains the fragility of a normal snowman. The user can maintain it by keeping it cold, but it will eventually melt if left alone.
