Traits

Undiscovered trait (Mythical)

Category: Mutations

This trait hasn't been seen before. Allows a user to apply something that hasn't yet been logged into the trait dex, or mimic any existing trait of the scarce tier or lower. We cannot guarantee that something similar will never be released, but should that happen, feel free to obtain and apply the new trait item and do something else fun with the undiscovered trait slot!

A single character cannot have more than one undiscovered trait! Undiscovered traits differ from odd tail, odd eyes, odd teeth etc in that it's not confined to the location defined by the odd traits.

Obtainable via the purified mutagen item.

Phonic horns (Rare)

Alter ego (Mythical)

Category: Mutations

Allows a character to have an alternate "form". This form must be of the same species. The form may have different traits from the character's base form, but all traits applied must be unlocked. All traits from all forms have a chance to pass down when breeding.

Characters can have up to one base form + 3 alter egos, but the alter ego mutation must be reapplied separately for each additional form.

Holo-tattoo (Common)

Category: Mutations

Holo-tattoos are a popular body modification in Mwylunnus. They are a tattoo made of nanotech ink that can move under the skin to produce different patterns. This trait can be applied multiple times, but each application must not extend to more than one "main" area of the body (Right arm, Left arm, right leg, left leg, torso front, torso back, neck/head, and tail). This trait can be applied multiple times to cover more of the body.

Characters with this trait may have markings that move and shift.

This trait makes a character's horns HUGE. Must be applied to a character that has a horn trait applied.

Grabber tail (Rare)

Category: Mutations

This trait grants a character a prehensile hand on the end of their tail. Must have 3-4 fingers + a thumb. If hand traits such as sticky fingers and polydactyly have been applied to the character, they may affect this tail hand too.

Harpy phenotype (Mythical)

Category: Mutations

This trait replaces a character's arms with wings. These wings follow the same rules as the normal wing mutation.

Object tail (Scarce)

Category: Mutations

This trait allows for an object to either replace or be attached to a character's tail. This could be things like lanterns connected to the tail tip, a syringe replacing the tail, and more.

Food items and plants are not available via this trait and require the licorice hexum and cordinanis spores afflictions respectively.

The object may have metallic or wooden elements as long as the textured parts are normal for that object to have.

LUMA tail (Rare)

Category: Mutations

A plug or USB adapter tail tip similar to that of a LUMAbot. Can be functional, and may or may not cause the rest of the tail to slim down to imitate the appearance of a wire.

Object head (Mythical)

Category: Mutations

The head of a character with this trait is completely replaced by an object such as a television, bucket, mop head and more. May be combined with things such as licorice hexum or cordinanis spores to create effects such as a cupcake or mushroom head. Is compatible with lycoperdontis mist to replace the head with a cloud of smoke.

This trait can give a character a skeletal head that does not match it's species (eg: a canine skull head on a djubetos, or a humanoid skull head on a wourgi, etc.)

The object may have metallic or wooden elements as long as the textured parts are normal for that object to have.

Coral horns (Rare)

Category: Mutations

This trait gives a character horns that are made of coral. These horns may or may not grow over time like real coral, and may or may not need maintenance and care to keep the coral "alive".

Nettle fur (Uncommon)

Category: Mutations

This trait gives a character irritating urticating hairs. They are immune to their own hairs, luckily. These hairs cause itching and irritation on contact like fiberglass. This trait can also be used to give character stinging cells like jellyfish and anemones.
