Traits

Odd mouth (Scarce)

Category: Mutations

This trait gives a character a mouth that's... Weird. This could be a big mouth with mandibles, a lamprey style mouth, vertical mouth, and more. I am scared to see what people do with this trait...

Dimensional pouch (Mythical)

Category: Mutations

This trait grants a character a "dimensional pouch" that's signature to a species found in the Otherworld. This is a pocket dimension that opens somewhere on the character's body (typically the sternum) that they can freely open and close. Space inside is limited and most can only store up to a third of their body weight inside, but with practice they can increase that amount. The character does not feel the weight of the items that they are storing unless their pouch is too full.

When closed, there is no physical or visible sign of this pouch. When opened, it looks like a dark void inside.

Metallic texture (Scarce)

Category: Mutations

This trait allows for a character to have metallic texture / colored patches on their body. This can give them metallic skin, markings, horns, tails, teeth, eyes, etc

Metallic skin may or may not be hard like metal.

Small things like glitter/shimmer, sparkles and shiny freckles do NOT need this trait and can be applied to any character for free.

Djubetos's signature crystal horns include minerals as their available materials, so djubetos may have metallic horns for free!

Serpentine body (Mythical)

Category: Mutations

A naga-like body. Instead of legs, this character has a serpent's body below the hips. This body may have scales like an ordinary snake, but if they extend above the hips then the scale texture trait will be needed.

This trait does not come with the rattle tail tip or any other tail tips for free.

Centaur body (Mythical)

Category: Mutations

This trait gives a character a centaur style body where the body below the hips is replaced by that of some sort of animal. This trait allows for the character to have the body of any four legged animal. This could be an old-world Earth animal like horses, tigers, bears, etc; this could also be any Mwylunnus creature such as perreos, fenguila, yohu, and more. Mythical creatures such as dragon style bodies are also allowed.

Shaped tail tip (Rare)

Category: Mutations

This trait gives a character a shape on the top of their tail. This must be a simple geometric shape such as a star, circle, crescent, or a simple organic shape. This trait should not be used to mimic traits unless they are of a lower rarity tier than this trait.

Horn crest (Uncommon)

Category: Mutations

This is two horns that sprout from the same place on the forehead or brow ridge, giving the appearance of one conjoined horn. Can be combined with other horn traits to create more complex horns.

Split tailtip (Common)

Category: Mutations

This trait allows for characters to have a forked tailtip. This only allows for two tailtips to branch off of the tail, and the base of the branch must not extend further than halfway up the tail. The forked parts must not be so thick as to mimic a marine tail.

Swivel horns (Common)

Category: Mutations

This trait modifies existing horns to allow the horn base to be free from the rest of the skull, allowing for the horns to tilt and swivel. Whether the character is able to consciously control their horn movements, or if they simply move based on emotions is up to the user.

Swivel horns are more fragile than normal horns and have a higher chance of being torn off or damaged.

Candle growths (Scarce)

Category: Mutations

The character has waxy growths that mimic candles. These CAN be lit without harming the character, and will regenerate over time once they've been burned down.

Object horns (Scarce)

Category: Mutations

This trait allows for a character to have "horns" that take the form of an object. These could be things like a game console, bells, pencils, etc.

These cannot contain food or plant life without the licorice hexum or cordinanis spore traits. The extra horns traits is needed for more than two "horns".

These objects may contain metallic or wooden textures without an additional trait so long as that texture is a standard texture for that specific object (for example, a character with screwdriver horns is allowed to have the proper parts of the screwdriver be metallic)

Glitterbomb (Common)

Category: Mutations

This trait allows for a character to "shed" small markings such as glitter/shimmer, freckles, stripes, etc... they grow back on the character, and the shed markings disappear after some time. This is really, REALLY bad for stealth missions.

Bioluminescence (Common)

Category: Mutations

This trait allows a character to have glowing eyes, markings, and patches on their body. This trait only affects external parts of the body.

This trait is standard for djubetos and is allowed to be added to this species for free.

Beak (Rare)

Category: Mutations

This trait gives a character a beak like a bird. Beak shape can be adjusted to match any real world birds.

Grabber horns (Rare)

Category: Mutations

This trait gives a character horns shaped like hands. Whether these are prehensile or simply there for show is up to the user.

Grabber wings (Rare)

Category: Mutations

This trait modifies existing wings to give them a thumb and 2-4 fingers on the wrist joint of the wings. The character must have a wing trait previously applied in order to utilize this trait.
