Djubetos with this condition never escaped their larval stage, leaving the djubetos with the skeletal face of a paralarva permanently. The face may have bone, or gooey exposed muscle. The tail may be underdeveloped (weak bones) and the skin is still translucent, exposing organs, muscle and blood. While they do mentally develop properly, djubetos with this defect tend to be incredibly aggressive.

Djubetos with paralarval countenance cannot breed as their gonads never properly develop. These djubetos produce for life the djubetos-repelling pheromone that paralarvae and gravid djubetos produce.
