Venom glands (Uncommon)

This trait makes a character's horns HUGE. Must be applied to a character that has a horn trait applied.

Nettle fur (Uncommon)

Category: Mutations

This trait gives a character irritating urticating hairs. They are immune to their own hairs, luckily. These hairs cause itching and irritation on contact like fiberglass. This trait can also be used to give character stinging cells like jellyfish and anemones.

Horn crest (Uncommon)

Category: Mutations

This is two horns that sprout from the same place on the forehead or brow ridge, giving the appearance of one conjoined horn. Can be combined with other horn traits to create more complex horns.

Licorice Hexum (Uncommon)

Category: Afflictions

High blood sugar results in sugary growths on the body as the immune system tries to expel excess glucose. These growths typically take the shape (and flavor) of various candies and sweets such as hard candy, chocolate, cookies, and even whipped cream or icing.

These growths can fully envelop and replace body parts without an additional trait such as object tail and object horns, however, they must be combined with object head to fully replace the head.

While sugary things are the most commonly observed, this affliction can grant a character growths that take the form of any food item.

Obtainable via the glucose medley item.

Lycoperdontis Mist (Uncommon)

Category: Afflictions

Infection of the lycoperdontis puffball mushroom causes clouds of spores to leak from orifices, wounds, or even patches of skin. This behaves like mist or smoke and can be any color.

This mist cannot replace body parts such as the tail or horns and can only float around the body or leak out.

Obtainable via the vial pod item.

Paralarval Countenance (Uncommon)

Category: Afflictions
Species: Djubetos

The face never developed, leaving a djubetos with the skeletal face of a paralarva permanently. The face may have bone, or gooey exposed muscle. The tail may be underdeveloped (weak bones) and the skin can be any shade of purple, blue, gray, or a normal human skin tone. Djubetos with this defect tend to be incredibly aggressive.

Obtainable via Breeding Affliction.

DIV (Djubetos Immunodeficiency Virus) (Uncommon)

Category: Afflictions
Species: Djubetos

A chronic condition caused by a djubetos-specific virus. This virus is transmittable by blood and runs rampant in the cannibalistic gourmet circles tucked away deep in the heart of Pandora. Djubetos with this disease heal much more slowly than normal djubetos (or not at all) and are often held together by stitches while they wait for wounds to heal. As it's an immunodeficiency disease, victims also tend to become ill more often than a normal djubetos.

There are medications that djubetos can take that speed up healing and lessen the effects of this disease.

The effects vary, some djubetos will still heal and regenerate lost limbs, but at a much slower rate than normal djubetos. For some victims, healing and regeneration come to a near or total halt.

Obtainable via the Infected Ichor item.

Prionic Infection (Uncommon)

Category: Afflictions

It's rabies, guys... it's just rabies,,,

This disease does not kill the host, but causes them to have occasional episodes of delirium and aggression. Eyes may or may not turn a single blank color during flareups.

Obtainable via Cerebral Fluid item.

Noctilucar illusions (Uncommon)

Category: Afflictions

Small lights float around the character, giving them a twinkling or "firefly" effect. This is caused by a bacterial infection that causes the character to shed bioluminescent particles. This disease has no known negative symptoms and is actually coveted in some cultures.

Distemper (Uncommon)

Category: Afflictions

This affliction only affects wourgi and miauvi. It causes the character's head to take a large mammalian feral form under periods of stress. Flareups are also aggravated by the light of a full moon. This disease is caused when the character is cut or pricked by the thorns of the moon blooming witchthistle plant that can be found on the dark side of Muunvitus. The toxins from this plant react to strong moonlight and cause the victim's body to have a unique allergic reaction that causes their form to shift.
