Traits
Grabber tail (Rare)
This trait grants a character a prehensile hand on the end of their tail. Must have 3-4 fingers + a thumb. If hand traits such as sticky fingers and polydactyly have been applied to the character, they may affect this tail hand too.
Coral horns (Rare)
This trait gives a character horns that are made of coral. These horns may or may not grow over time like real coral, and may or may not need maintenance and care to keep the coral "alive".
Shaped tail tip (Rare)
This trait gives a character a shape on the top of their tail. This must be a simple geometric shape such as a star, circle, crescent, or a simple organic shape. This trait should not be used to mimic traits unless they are of a lower rarity tier than this trait.
Grabber horns (Rare)
This trait gives a character horns shaped like hands. Whether these are prehensile or simply there for show is up to the user.
Grabber wings (Rare)
This trait modifies existing wings to give them a thumb and 2-4 fingers on the wrist joint of the wings. The character must have a wing trait previously applied in order to utilize this trait.
Plasma flux (Rare)
This affliction gives the effect of fire or electricity on a djubetos's tail and body. It's caused when a djubetos is exposed to a tremendous amount of energy at once, be this heat, electricity, or something else. The excess energy will pool in the djubetos's tail and tear through the membrane, causing irreversible damage. Over time, this hole will continue to degrade as the djuebtos uses the tail, causing the inner plasma to leak out, causing a fire or electricity effect in the tail. If the divider between the tail and body becomes damaged, plasma may leak out of body parts as well.
The end stage of this affliction is complete loss of tail membrane, giving the effect of a fire or smoke tail.
This condition differs from a tail injury, as most tail injuries will heal over time. Plasma flux is when the amount of energy escaping the tail is so excess that the membrane can no longer heal.
Djubetos with a severe enough case of this affliction will struggle to survive in open space as their body uses tremendous amounts of energy to keep up with the energy escaping from exposed tail plasma. They will also have difficulty regulating body temperature as raw plasma leaks into their main body from the tail.
Obtainable via the Photon reactor core item.
Cordinanis Spores (Rare)
Consumption of the cordinanis mushroom causes plant and fungal growth to grow across the body. These plants may or may not stray from Earth biology, and may appear inside and outside of the body.
These growths can fully envelop and replace certain body parts like limbs, tail, or horns. However, they cannot fully replace the head without the addition of the object head trait.
Obtainable via the odd mushroom item.
Textile taxidermy (Rare)
After exposure to a type of rot only found in miskept taxidermy, victims of this disease may find that their skin takes on an almost fabric texture, and may even find material similar to stuffing under their skin. This affliction causes a character to have fabric or cloth textured parts of their body, and may cause parts of their body to form stuffing inside and visible stitching, causing those parts to take on the appearance of a plush toy.
Ocular vicissitude (Rare)
This affliction causes a character's cornea to respond rapidly to changes in stress hormones and endorphins, causing the appearance of the eye to change based on mood. With this affliction, the character may have one "default" eye appearance and up to four alternate appearances that change based on emotion.
All eye traits that appear must be unlocked and applied properly.
This is separate from the alter ego trait, and each character form may have its own sets of eyes.
